Vivian Mok Rulewich

Project Designer

Vivian joined C&H in the summer of 2025, and has over six years of experience in modern residential projects. She brings to the team a trained eye on materials, colors, and strong graphic visuals.

Vivian’s introduction to architecture started in a traditional drafting class at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School where she completed her Visual Arts major. She decided to further pursue this interest at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute after being one of the three in her high school to receive the Architecture Scholarship Award. In her five years at RPI, she discovered a passion for fabrication, material science, and sustainability. She participated at CASE (Center for Architecture Science and Ecology) as a student researcher and was involved with researching one of Ghana’s major agricultural waste, coconut husks, and contributed to how it can be an emerging agricultural building material.

Since then, Vivian is an advocate for healthy materials, decarbonization strategies, and climate resiliency. She keeps her curiosity on its toes as she regularly attends lecture series, examines case studies, and volunteers at bio-material workshops.

Vivian was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in a neighborhood called Bensonhurst. After graduating college she lived in Boston with her husband, who is also an architect, for their respective profession. In all her years living in a city, she thought it was time to find somewhere quieter and be closer to nature. She now resides in the Pioneer Valley with her husband. When not in the office, you can find her exploring new museum exhibits, trying out coffee shops, or hiking. And if at home, tending to her indoor plants, crafting, or reading ferociously.
