Hillside House
A gut-renovation with two small additions transformed an existing two-family dwelling into a light-filled house for a young family. Traditional detailing with a modern sense of space creates a home that feels both timeless and responsive to their current needs.
The house opens up to private views of the treed yard and mountains beyond, while keeping within the traditional vernacular of the neighborhood on the more public facades.
