Garth Schwellenbach, AIA

Partner

Garth joined C&H in 2013, and joined Tom and Jesse as a partner in 2017.

Garth started his path to architecture working in residential construction while living in Asheville, North Carolina. A growing fascination for building and design led to a position working at Keith Hargrove Architect, where he gained valuable experience in the design and construction process while working on a variety of projects.  This experience inspired his return to school to pursue a masters degree in architecture, which itself meant a return to New England.

Born in Denver and raised in Camden, Maine, Garth spent his youth (and beyond) either in the woods or on the water.  He currently lives with his wife Liz and son Oscar in South Hadley, MA, spending his spare moments with his family, riding his bike, or playing banjo or fiddle.
